what inspired you to start making music, and when did it first feel like your dream was actually possible?

Uh, sh*t my momma made music growing up so I always been inspired by her love for it way before I had the thought to even imagine rapping. When I first started I always knew I was [going to] make it possible, but I did go through the doubts during hard times and stuff. I had to get to the point where I was at my lowest in life, I stopped giving a f*ck about everything. What’s crazy is that that’s what gave me that full 100% of belief back. [Since] I stopped caring about failing. So I stopped thinking about it, and eventually I started winning.

after receiving all of this validation and visibility from the world, how do you keep a mental balance and remain focused?

I don't got too many people around me. Like day-to-day it’s just me and like 5 blood relatives, so nothing ever really feels like it changed. It’s only when I get to answering outsiders calls or checking supporters messages requests when I get that realization that this sh*t really way bigger than what it seems. Other than that though I’m always focused. In here locked in the studio as we speak.

if it wasn't for the music, what do you feel like you'd be doing right now?

Sh*t ain’t no telling. I probably couldn’t answer that question correctly even if I knew the answer. This sh*t saved my life for real.

what do you feel like changed the most about you from the beginning of your career to now?

My mindset for sure. The beginning of my career I was damn near just rapping on the side and in the streets 25/8. Now I can’t stand to be around any n*gga that’s still on that timing without a structured plan to make it out this bullsh*t. That sh*t is beyond me.

where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

Alive, well, and finally off of parole. My papers end in 2031 so thats going to be the biggest relief off my shoulders, No Vap!

if you had one last idea, statement or thought to give to the world, what would it be?

Be yourself, even if nobody accepts you for it. F*ck 'em. If you don’t, you're either going to regret it, or end up a satisfied fake individual. That's the only time you're truly in control of your own life for real. When you can be unapologetically you.
