what inspired you to start making music, and when did it first feel like your dream was actually possible?
My homie dissed me on BandLab and i had to get back. I got pretty good feedback when i dropped my first song so it always felt possible, even through adversity.
how do you balance being a videographer and an artist, and how do you stay grounded with all of the world's validation?
I like to leverage one with the other usually. with my resources and insight that comes from either of them. I’m able to stay grounded because I'm trying to move in the direction of God’s purpose for me and not so much my idea of my purpose.
was there ever a time that you felt like giving up, and what did you do to overcome that feeling?
I don’t think i’ve thought about giving it up. I have questioned if the whole music thing is the wrong path overall. The only thing that can keep anybody afloat in troubling times is faith in Christ. Letting go of what you think you can do. Because it’s no match for what God has done for us.
what are some lessons that you've learned from either your peers or someone that you were a fan of in this realm that you apply to your career now?
Be very careful who you select as your peers. People come and go. When your roots are not alike, your fruits are not alike. Remain a student at all times, you never never know when the tables will turn.
if you could go back to the first time that you decided to get into music, what's some advice you would tell yourself?
“You got this.”
if you had one last idea, statement or thought to give to the world, what would it be ?
You are only worthy through Gods perfection being accredited to you.
